Transplanted Californian found this in the area surrounding Bakersfield, at a garage sale or something. The logo is quite familiar and somewhat endearing, as it represented a dramatic change in the downtown skyline in 1968. The monorail was one of the best part of the world's fair that year, even with the fires and the breakdowns. Too bad the city did not preserve it, or even expand it to serve the entire downtown area.Let the bidding begin.
